Yay, NewOldSongs is back! Well, today I’ll do it a wee bit differently. Took quite a while to put it all together. Not to mention waiting for things to happen. And this is the ONLY reason I missed the 16th September deadline. The only one. No other.

You knew this was coming, didn’t you? With all the recent hoo-haa’s about Britney. The shambles that was her comeback at the MTV VMAwards. The various videos in her defence. A passionate plea from her biggest fan ever. An even better remix of the song. I just love them hyperlinks.

it’s not by someone well known, just an ardent fan. But it just strikes a chord in me. What (s)he had said. It just fills your heart with so much emotion it heaves, it makes you want to drop everything and just listen to the melancholic beats that drums into your bleedy heart.

I have to admit, I had written them off as just another indie band. Jumping on the bandwagon. The influx of bands in this genre makes it look like the boybands are hitting it big again. With a different name. For Backstreet Boys read death cab for cutie, for *nysnc read Coldplay and for Westlife.. err.. my memory lets me down on days like these. But you get the drift.

But it was a pleasant surprise. Trust me. Well, those of you who haven’t anyways. Those who had, and are sorely disappointed. Hush. No one needs to know about those stuff. Pretty please?
