[Monash] The Legend

It is the first time that I’ve actually agreed with a self proclamation. And this person, you can call him no other.

How can he not be THE LEGEND when his lectures notes are peppered throughout with gems like “If at first you don’t succeed, redefine success. I put that in just cause I liked it.” and “In martial arts there is a saying. The best way to avoid a punch is to not be there.”

In case you were wondering, yes he is a lecturer, he teaches Computing, and we are a privileged lot to have been under his tutelage.

I bet he was sitting in his ergonomic chair in his dainty little lecturer’s room, throwing his head back and laughing maniacally at exactly 8.47am Malaysian Time on the 21st of June 2007. This is when his students opened the paper just to read:

For what purpose was Intel 4004 built?

This, ladies and gentlemen, was the sentence that made us scream collectively, “WTFook!” which from now onwards, will forever be known as the Andrew-Price-The-Legend moment.

If that isn’t the stuff of legends, I don’t know what is.

ps: Intel 4004 is the world’s first single chip microprocessor, and i answered calculator. >:| grrrr
